Pacific Grove offers an unparalleled quality of life. Sharing borders with the Monterey Bay, City of Monterey, Pacific Ocean, and the Del Monte Forest, the town offers breathtaking views and recreational activities.
Pacific Grove boasts being “The Last American Hometown” and “Butterfly Town USA”. Pacific Grove holds festivals such as “The Good Old Days Celebration.” The beautiful coastline on Ocean View Boulevard is almost rivaled by the old, yet graceful Victorians that line the town’s streets.
Pacific Grove was once a religious retreat so there is a certain quality that is conducive to rest and relaxation. Once a year, thousands of Monarch Butterflies come to town in winter. There is a butterfly sanctuary on Ridge Road off Lighthouse Avenue. November through early March you can visit the area and see the butterflies. A quiet stroll through the neighborhoods reveals early homes displaying plaques engraved with names of original owners and construction dates.
